He co-founded the Southeast Asian Audio-Visual Association (SAAVA), a non-profit network seeking to unify media producers, creative entreprenuers, and investors around ASEAN, and is a member of the EAVE network of European producers. He co-founded the Southeast Asian Film Financing (SAFF) Forum, the region’s biggest media financing platform that engages and educates stakeholders from the creative and financial sectors to develop modern modes of entertainment financing.

TERENCE KONG
Group Managing Partner & Head, Lifestyle Concepts
Terence brings extensive advisory experience and a sterling reputation from his background in financial services. He has held key roles in developing, implementing and supervising distribution strategies for financial products in Singapore and Southeast Asia. His producer credits include the feature film STANO, a collaboration with the iconic New York Yankees baseball franchise directed by Sundance winner Raymond de Felitta, and the Swiss-Indian arthouse feature film THE SONG OF SCORPIONS, starring Cesar nominee Golshifteh Farahani. An alumnus of the Anglo-Chinese School and Raffles Institution in Singapore, his business interests also include the restaurant “Momma Kong’s” (tabbed by Lonely Planet to have Singapore’s best chilli crab) and the bistro “3O1 Bar & Kitchen” (which he owns with CRAZY RICH ASIANS actor and incorrigible good guy Pierre Png). This veteran of the entertainment scene brings a distinctive edge to Aurora’s identity, influenced by his youth spent bartending in the gritty urban underbelly. In his free time, he enjoys going sailing with his kids and taking his jacked-up Landrover into Southeast Asian jungles.
